History

John McLoughlin & Son (Shipping) Ltd was founded in 1970 by Mr. John McLoughlin Senior. The company is supported by three of his daughters—Donna, Deirdre, and Adrienne—who are still with the company and continue to help run the business on a daily basis as a family concern.

Services and Expertise

Our company provides a number of specialist services to the shipping industry, including:

• Mooring and Pilot Boat Services
• Surveying and Safety Boat Operations
• Crew Transfers at Sea

We also proudly serve all major dredging companies as and when requested.

Our Team

We maintain a high standard of safety and professional certification. All our employees hold valid ML5 or ENG 1 medical certificates. Our team consists of qualified boat drivers and mooring men, fully certified to MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) or STCW 95 standards.
